2025 Living Water Resorts Scholarship Presentation

Investing in the Future At Living Water Resorts, we believe that investing in youth is investing in the future of our community. Education is costly, but our Scholarship Program offers more than financial support — it represents kindness, encouragement, and the belief that every student deserves a chance to succeed.

This year, 12 scholarships were awarded to students pursuing college and university programs. On August 15th, CEO & Owner Larry Law and Executive Vice President & General Manager Don Buckle personally presented the awards to seasonal staff, part-time team members, and children of employees.

Applicants were judged on their use of the Living Water Resorts’ 4 C’s — Caring, Chemistry, Competency, and Character — the foundation of our “Serving with Caring Hearts” culture.

In his remarks, Larry shared:

 “As a businessperson, I frequently consider the return on investment. It's an essential financial test. With scholarships, the return is not monetary. The focus must shift from spreadsheets to something more profound.”

He then challenged students:

 “What is the real return on this investment? The true ROI is a life lived with purpose, hope, and dreams — making a contribution to the world and to the people around you. Titles aren't the goal — purpose is. What matters most is living with purpose and using their gifts to serve others.”

His final reminder was clear:



"Life will not always be easy. We all face tough times. But with faith, hope, and trust, even adversity can become an opportunity. We always have a choice: to be better, to do good, and to make a contribution."

These scholarships are more than cheques — they are an investment in character, purpose, and possibility, and a belief that each student can carry forward the ripple of compassion, generosity, and hope that defines the Living Water culture.
