Winter Activity

The South Georgian Bay region offers an all-season list of recreational activities. No matter your passion, there is lots to keep you entertained:

  • Downhill Skiing/Snowboarding -  This is the premier downhill destination in Ontario. 

  • Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing - The ideal way to experience our winter wonderland. We have the best in Nordic adventures.

  • Cycling - Our region has become a hotspot for avid cyclists. Be you a road warrior or a trail adventurer, this is the place.

  • Hiking & Rock Climbing - A great way to get to know the area is to visit our many trail systems. The Escarpment consists of trails, caves and climbs with breathtaking views that are worth the climb.

  • Beaches - We have miles and miles of beaches. Starting in Wasaga (the world's longest fresh water beach) & heading west all the way to Meaford, there are so many ways to enjoy the summer!

  • Golf - There are numerous open-to-the-public golf courses in this area. Each offering beautiful views, unique challenges and a great experience on the links.

With so much to do and see, a tour is a great way to pack a lot in and have a whole lot of fun along the way. Depending on your particular interests, there are tour options for a variety of tastes:

  • Wine Tours - with local vineyards offering tastings and pairings with exceptional views and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
