A Journey of Passion, Caring and Serving: Larry Law's Message

Dear Guests, Members, Owners and Living Water Resort team members:

ree

I wish to share the joy of truly meaningful personal experiences that happened to me last month.

Years ago, I hired a nurse to care for my father at home. After he passed away in1992, we lost touch. Just recently, she reached out—she had been trying to find me.

Her reason?

She wanted to visit my father's grave in British Columbia and pay her respects while travelling there.

In my father’s final days, he cared deeply for her and once asked what she would do after he was gone. She comforted him with a promise: that we would reconnect. More than 30 years later, she kept that promise. Her name is Luqie, and she was unforgettable. We had lived like family. My father was so kind. Life can be incredibly moving when we act with compassion and justice.

Joy Comes from Human Connection

Just last weekend, I had another heartwarming moment. While walking through the resort parking lot, three families stopped me just to share how happy they were staying with us. One family told me they’ve been Members since 2006,another since 2008. I was deeply honoured when they said, “You are part of ourhome away from home.”

One of the couples, originally from Czechoslovakia, told me they no longer travelabroad, but instead choose to stay with us three times a year. Each visit becomesan annual cottage tradition, where they invite their children and friends to join. They praised our friendly staff, the open atmosphere that helps them relax, andeven our contributions to the community—like our lobby displays, history wall, artwork and fresh local eggs.

Yes, we’re always looking for ways to serve our guests, our staff, and our broadercommunity. We share farm-fresh eggs, local honey, and even toilet paper with ourstaff at cost price. Thanks to our talented team, our greenhouse is now producinga wonderful harvest of fresh vegetables for our guests at Lakeside Seafood & Grill.

These may seem like small things, but they reflect our spirit of care, sharing, andsocial good.

We are a people-loving community, and we thank you for being part of it. Moreimportantly, we thank our team members who not only embrace but live ourcompany culture.

Our Journey Continues

After years of building loving, long-term relationships with hundreds of thousands of guests, members, and owners, we've been inspired to create something new—a retirement home that continues this tradition of care.

It's our next chapter, and one we’re deeply excited about.

More than just offering permanent accommodations, exclusive dining, and organized activities, we want to nurture personal and loving relationships.

Maybe you’ll come to visit your parents here. Maybe your children will put on a talent show for our seniors, and the seniors will share stories of their lives with them. My father’s story could become part of your story, too.

We’re excited to welcome the next chapter of Living Water this summer—withheart, with purpose, and with love.

Let God plan and lead our lives. We will enjoy the amazing life journey.

Larry
