Thermostat Instructions

1.Welcome

Thank you for using the Ultra Series Hospitality Thermostat.

This thermostat is designed specifically for hotel and guestroom environments, offering:

  • Easy temperature adjustment

  • Durable design

  • Energy-efficient operation

  • Simple, guest-friendly controls

2. Thermostat Overview Front Panel Features

Backlit LCD Display

  • Clearly shows:

    • Current room temperature

    • Set temperature

    • Mode (Cool / Heat / Auto)

    • Fan status

 

Temperature Control Buttons

  • Red Arrow – Increase temperature

  • Blue Arrow – Decrease temperature

 

Mode Button (if enabled)

  • Switch between:

    • Cool

  • Heat

  • Auto

 

Fan Button (if enabled)

  • Toggle fan between:

    • Auto

    • On

 

3. Basic Operation

A. Adjusting the Temperature

  1. Press the ● Red Arrow to increase the temperature.

  2. Press the ● Blue Arrow to decrease the temperature.

  3. The display will show the new set temperature.

  4. After a few seconds, the screen returns to showing room temperature.

✔ The system will automatically begin heating or cooling as needed.

 

B. Changing the Mode (If Available)

  1. Press the Mode button.

  2. Select:

    • Cool – Air conditioning only

    • Heat – Heating only

    • Auto – Automatically switches between heating and cooling

 

C. Fan Operation (If Available)

Press the Fan button to choose:

  • Auto – Fan runs only when heating or cooling

  • On – Fan runs continuously

 

For best energy efficiency, use Auto mode.

4. Understanding the Display Display Symbol Meaning

5. Energy Saving Features

The Ultra Series thermostat may include:

  • Temperature limits set by hotel management

  • Automatic setback when room is unoccupied

  • Smart energy-saving controls These features help:

  • Reduce energy waste

  • Maintain comfort

  • Support sustainable operations

 

6. Tips for Best Comfort

  • For cooling: Set temperature between 70–74°F (21–23°C)

  • For heating: Set temperature between 68–72°F (20–22°C)

  • Keep doors and windows closed for optimal performance.

 

7.Troubleshooting The screen is blank

  • Check that power is available.

  • Contact front desk or maintenance.

 

Room is not cooling or heating

  • Confirm the correct mode is selected.

  • Adjust temperature 2–3 degrees higher/lower.

  • Allow several minutes for system response.

 

Buttons do not respond

  • The thermostat may be temporarily locked.

  • Contact hotel staff for assistance.

 

 

8.Safety & Care

  • Do not press buttons with sharp objects.

  • Do not attempt to open the thermostat housing.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth only.
